I used to have an 80-foot pine tree in my yard, and for a while, a heron was nesting in the top of it. I’m gonna have to tell you, a pigeon pooping on your car is depressing…a heron pooping on your car is horrifying…looked like half a salmon…

Saw a Little Blue Heron at a swamp I pass every day. Still waiting to see the first GBH of the season – but those sightings are few and far between.
This is the first time I’ve noticed one flying over, but I’ve seen them yearly in one of the various nearby ponds etc, still very cool!
